Weez Walk

About Weez Walk

Weez Walk aims to make Hong Kong a happier and healthier place for young people to thrive. Since it was founded in 2021, Weez Project has been committed to improving youth mental health, and starting conversations in the community about wellbeing.

Weez Walk offers a unique opportunity to switch off from the daily routine and embrace a nature-filled adventure circumnavigating the 62-kilometre coastal challenge around Hong Kong island. Every step, every dollar, and every conversation counts! We welcome entrants of all ages and backgrounds to join us and play your part in improving youth mental health.

Latest Youth Mental Health Trend

In Hong Kong over 20% of secondary students report experiencing moderate to severe depression, anxiety and stress, according to the happiness survey conducted by the Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service from 2024 to 2025.

Your impact

All net proceeds fundraised from Weez Walk 2026 will support Mind HK’s work to provide evidence-based solutions to address the Hong Kong youth mental health crisis. Mind HK is a nonprofit and does this through its healthcare services and programmes that span early intervention, prevention and promotion. Funds will go to Mind HK’s Improving Access to Community Therapies (iACT®) programme, offering free and low intensity psychological support to youth aged 12 to 24 experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Since the start of the programme in 2022, Mind HK has trained 128 Wellbeing Practitioners and provided free psychological support to over 1,800 individuals.

Why walk with us?

Weez Walk aims to bring participants together to foster a strong sense of community spirit and promote mental wellbeing and suicide prevention. It is not just a physical endeavour; it serves as a safe space for us to open up, hold honest dialogues and provide mutual support with our friends, family and colleagues. Conversations help reduce stigma, and empower those in need to speak up and embark on their recovery journey.
